We tasted two Chardonnay wines from 2009: a French one and a California one. No surprise in how different these wines are.

Le Rosé de Régis Boucabeille 2009
A very impressive rosé wine with a lot of flavors and taste. Not the typical “light” summer rosé

Antoine Arena, Cuvee Lisandra 2006

Finally opened this bottle of Corsican wine that I had been saving for a couple years. It is very different from any other Corsican wine I have had before. It had aged well (when usually wines form that region are to be enjoyed within a year or two) and was very nice on a seafood risotto. Reserve de la Comtesse 1998, Pauillac. Enjoyed this wine with some friends over dinner. We did not open it too far in advance. The smell was not very developped but the taste was great! We enjoyed it with a dish of steak marinated in olive oil along with some mushroom risotto.

Le Voyage Innatendu: this 100% white Grenache wine has the right name. It was a very original taste. I loved it.
